As coach of the school’s competitive gaming team, she watched shy, isolated teens gain confidence, build friendships, and discover a sense of belonging. Teacher Appreciation Week, celebrated annually during the first full week of May, is a special time dedicated to honoring the incredible contributions of educators. This year, it falls from May 5th to May 9th.
