Dear Fort Campbell High School Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Fort Campbell High School! We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, service, and excellence with our students, families, faculty, and community. At FCHS, we remain committed to our mission to educate, engage, and empower military-connected students to succeed in a dynamic world. Our vision is clear: excellence in education for every student, every day, everywhere.

This year, our work will be guided by a continued focus on student excellence, instructional excellence, service excellence, and organizational excellence. These priorities remind us that every student deserves rigorous learning experiences, supportive classrooms, strong family partnerships, and a school environment that is safe, organized, responsive, and focused on continuous improvement.

A major focus for the 2026-2027 school year will be strengthening academic achievement through high-quality instruction, aligned assessments, and timely support for students. Assessment will not simply be about generating a score. Rather, it will help us improve teaching, strengthen learning, and provide meaningful information to students, families, and educators so we can make informed decisions together.

We will also continue to emphasize strong core instruction in literacy, writing, mathematics, science, history, and physical education. Our goal is to ensure students develop the knowledge, skills, habits, and confidence needed for success in school and beyond graduation.

At the high school level, we will continue focusing on college and career readiness through opportunities such as Advanced Placement courses, PSAT, SAT, dual enrollment, and expanded academic pathways. These opportunities are designed to help our students explore their interests, challenge themselves, and prepare for future success beyond FCHS.

We also recognize that parents and guardians are their children’s first and most important educators. Strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success, and we are committed to clear communication, timely updates, and meaningful collaboration with families. We encourage you to stay connected, ask questions, monitor student progress, and partner with us throughout the year.

In addition to academic growth, we will continue building a school culture that values responsibility, respect, physical readiness, citizenship, and character. We want our students to be knowledgeable, responsible, physically fit, virtuous, and prepared to contribute positively to their school, community, and country.

As we prepare students for an ever-changing world, we will also continue to use technology and artificial intelligence responsibly. Our goal is to ensure that technology use is purposeful, meaningful, and aligned with student learning while also protecting student data privacy and promoting digital citizenship.

Most importantly, Fort Campbell High School remains committed to serving our military-connected families with excellence. We are honored to partner with you and to support the students who bring so much talent, resilience, leadership, and promise to our school community.
